We'll be there. Eight of us in friends MH (Beaver Santiam)will arrive Tuesday night. Staying at Earhart's CG. No assigned spots so we get there early to stay near the track. It's sure to be a good time.
Four of us are heading up to Bristol friday afternoon. What is the best way to handle getting a site, call ahead, show up and hope for the best?? I've gone for the past three years but this is the first time with the rig.

The campground where we stay, Bill Gaines/Bristol, takes people without reservations, but, I would call ahead.

Hope the ground isn't too mushy, they've had ALOT of rain
Nope, we've not been there during any bad weather, just HOT during August and COLD nights last spring. I guess it's now my turn to experience rainy weather. Oh well, I can deal with rainy weather if it doesn't interfere with the actual racing !!!
