They would only replace the inner bars at $600 or give $150 off a new tow bar. I was a bit in shock at the time but on the drive home, I just became angry. It really seems to be a design defect. When I bought a $1000 tow bar, I never expected to have to replace it 4 years and 12,000 miles later.
