Everest owners rally 2011 west

Any Everest owners out there who are interested in meeting up with other owners in Western U.S.? We are planning an Everest Owner's Club Rally for this upcoming Summer 2011. if anyone is interested in attending, please feel free to check in at Everest Owners Club (EOC), Rallys forum (link below). We are in the planning stages right now, narrowing down the location. The dates will be determined after we decide on a location.

EOC is a great bunch of folks who happen to have ownership in an Everest 5th wheel in common. A relatively small group but everyone I have come to know there are really good folks. We share experiences, modification ideas, trouble shooting problems and just telling stories about our journeys.

There is also an EOC Rallys in Indiana annually called the "Home Coming Rally", but not everyone out here in the West is able to swing a trip clear out to Indiana so we have begun holding Western Rallys as well. This year, 2010, was the first West Coast Rally and we have decided to hold the location for these rallys flexible to spread the fun throughout the Western U.S..

If you own an Everest and would like to attend, please do sign up as a new member on EOC and join in with the planning for our 2nd ever Western EOC Rally. Click http://www.everest-owners.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=12 to get to EOC site, sign up, then go to rallys forum. We are planning the rally at the thread titled "ideas for western rally 2011" .

See ya there, T

Ps, I am new here on IRV2 and am impressed by the community and site. I'm looking forward to hanging out here with you all.

Happy Trails, Tim

Hey! TnT,

As you must have surmised I’m no longer a member of the EOC. The site owner gave me an ultimatum about posting in a subject he no longer allows discussed in his forum. When I disputed his decision to infringe on our first amendment rights and wrote another posting I was banned from the site altogether.

We have just returned from an extended trip up into New England and our old Everest performed flawlessly. You can find our trip journal at the web site below. When viewing it you will notice all of my pictures are stored here on iRV2. This is the best forum I have found for storing your pictures and the space is unlimited. Nice sizes and great quality. You may also notice I use another name at the location of my journal. I belong to many forums and use different names in most of them.

Good to hear from you. Yeah, it seems those tire discussions tend to grow their own heads once started. Amazing how passionate folks can become over molded rubber...

Sorry to hear that you got locked out of EOC over a dispute over the dreaded, ongoing tire conflict. I try to avoid posting on that topic whenever I see it pop up anymore after seeing the tempers fly on a few other forums as well.

I just started a poll on EOC to determine the location for our West Coast Rally locatation for 2011. Even if you don't wish to make amend with the EOC administrator where you can resume posting, please feel free to plan to meet up with the club when we have our Western Rally. The location should be determined in a couple of weeks, as that is how long the poll is scheduled to be up for.

The dates are still up in the air but I get the impression it will more than likely be during Summer months, i.e. mid June - mid August.

If I remember correctly a few years back,I voiced my opinion regarding Everest "only" at the EVEREST owners club ralleys. Well you should have heard all the comments saying their ralleys are OPEN to all brands.

What Happened ?????????????

Just my 2c worth...

Wow, where the heck did the hostility come from? I don't recall what your talking about. Could you please explain?

This is only the second Western Rally to ever take place, and the first one was just last month. I don't think I was involved in the conversation you're making reference to...

Hey, I'm just trying to invite folks to meet up, exchange a story or two, BBQ some animal flesh and have a few cocktails.

Did I miss something?

No worries. Come on out to the "Western Rally". It'll be a good time. Log on at EOC and go to the rally forum and vote in the location poll. We're an easy going bunch. Just wanna get together and have fun.

Unfortunately we've already gone through the ideas for location phase and moved on to the process of selecting one of the choices. The poll is now currently active and I encourage you to vote for one of the choices posted on the EOC Rally Forum. They are all great locations and I think it will be a good time, no matter where it ends up.

I'm sure the group will decide to use the same process again for the next season, shortly after the rally this coming year, so you should present the Las Vegas/Laughlin prospective then and it will go into the next poll.
Hopefully see ya soon, Tim
