It is the the annual Tampa RV Supershow, one of the largest RV shows in the nation. If you can you should go, it runs through Sunday.

Tampa RV Show

Just got back from the RV show and had a good time. Lots of RVs of every stripe and lots of people. Looks like interest is picking back up as the economy slowly improves.

I was disappointed, though, in the vendor offerings. The vast majority of booths were for RV resort lot sales. A good thing if that is what you are looking for. I was just not in the market. The few products I did have an interest in were not "show" priced, meaning I did not see any bargains. They may be there, just not for the things I was looking for.

It was nice to see that there was a strong turn out on the first day.

I was holding off buying some things for the show so that's disappointing to hear.

It never hurts to ask about a "show price" or a cash discount.

Just finished the loop in both "Suppliers" buildings. There are a few show specials but nothing to write home about.

Many of the Prevosts were already sold or "Shown by reservation only"

In my past experiences the specials do not start until the last day is in sight. I would bet come Saturday afternoon you will be able to negotiate a little stronger on most any product.

Don't forget Friday from 5:00PM to 6:30PM there will be an IRV2 social in the Newmar Kountry Klub Tent. Bring your own chair. If you need further directions feel free to PM me. Our location is not marked on the map that is provided so I'll do my best to help.
