I had planned on going. I even had my route planned out for the trip from the east coast, made reservations and contacted friends to visit along the way. But we don't boondock, so when I saw that they were charging $305 for electricity for 2 full days and 2 partial days, that killed it for me. That's as much as I pay for 3 months of electricity at rv parks. I'll still travel west this summer, but North Dakota is no longer on the itinerary.

$530 total for registration and 50 amp is totally ridiculous. $410 for registration and 30 amp is outrageous as well.

Especially when you are taking a chance of your coach getting beat to heck by hail.

Bad part is, I have to go.

Did I miss something????? Hail???? Say what???? Why more so than any other CG I might be in???

Plus - I started this post to see who WAS going....

If you're not going, that's fine.... That's your right but please try not to taint this for the rest of us..... I'd really appreciate it.....

Now - again - I'd love to hear from those of you THAT ARE going.... I'd like to meet some of you for sure....

Severe hailstorms that time/location is a huge risk. I saw a rig that suffered 2 hail balls and it was horrible. The roof, AC units, paint and windshield were a total disaster.
