That’s an idea but those spaces are only 25’ wide so you have your neighbors genny exhaust in your door.

There is a risk of that, but I am hoping they use a Gen-Turi like I will...

FMCA should spread people out...plenty of unused area. Fmca simply always lays out spaces 25’ x 42’ and they refuse to make spaces bigger even though rigs are bigger and gas generators are noisier now that they allow trailers.
It’s not like there are not acres of unused space.

Jeff have you sent a suggestion that they consider wider spacing in the generator area? Not a complaint letter but just a suggestion pointing out the problem some might have with generator exhaust?

Tireman, you have to realize that Jeff got his feelings hurt when his idea to restructure FMCA was soundly rejected by the governing board. It is evident now that anything he now says about FMCA is in the negative

We know you were not happy at Perry a few years ago but thousands of others still plan to go this year. Are you planning on going and complaining or staying home?
If generator exhaust is a problem for you, you can select the "No generator" area and avoid the problem completely.

Yes when I was on the Constitution Committee I was a proponent of increasing all spaces. All spots are laid out at Perry 25’ wide by 42’ long with 30’ roads. People are instructed to put their cars under their awning.
Ridiculous waste of space. At least with electric they have the excuse they would need to have HALE reset the plugs. With genny lots there’s no excuse. Acres of grass go unused as a result of packing everyone in like sardines.

It wasn’t my idea. It was the idea of the ENERGIZED Task Force (formally u60). Currently governance is controlled by chapters and less than 8% belong to chapters. We proposed “one member one vote” through petition. We knew it would not pass but was meant to stimulate the issue. It was just a way for FMCA to be Member run instead of an oligarch.
I’m not negative on FMCA and I’m a member of same.

Don’t know what you are referring to there. I was removed from the Convention Committee and as Chair of FMCA’s ENERGIZED Group by Rett Porter when he heard I was working with the new All Inclusive Motorhome Club. There was no conversation with Rett just a letter. He felt it was a conflict of some sort since I was volunteering in two different clubs.
No worries. Life goes on.

...and if they spread out the parking then you'll get people complaining that they have to walk too far to get to their rigs...
