Are you talking the general area of NW Florida or the dump of a lounge at the Florida/Alabama state line on Perdido Key?

Gosh, never been to Perdido Key and didn't know the bar is there! I just looked at the map and see Florida and Alabama. We've been to St Joe several times, Carabelle, Cedar Key, and was at Ft. Pickens last fall, but never stayed at Grayton Beach.

I must have lower standards. Seemed to just be a beach bar to me.

I thought a hurricane wiped the bar out a few years ago! I guess not!

We lived on Perdido Key for over 15 years, less than a mile from the FloraBama Lounge, and suffered no ill effects. For the past 13 years we have resided on Ono Island immediately north of the famous FloraBama and still life seems normal, perhaps some are speculating using less than reliable information. BTW our chosen place of Sunday morning worship is the FloraBama Lounge. Yes that's correct, God's House of worship for many, crowds range from 400 to 1500 people, each Sunday is the FloraBama Lounge facility a non-aligned service attended by people of all faiths.
