This is the biggest show in the North East. I hear Tampa is one of the biggest on the East but for our area, this is it. You are guaranteed to find what you're looking for here. And the prices are the best you'll see but be prepared to negoiate hard and be prepared to walk away empty handed if you don't get a deal that suites you.

We are at Beacon Hill campground in Intercourse just outside of Lancaster right now. Very small but a good spot to base from to visit the area.
We had a hard time finding a spot to stay during the Hershey RV show because we decided to do it very late so we have reservations at Pinch Pond RV Park in Manheim about 15 miles outside Hershey I guess.

I tried pinch pond as well but needed to get two adjoining sites and they are a first come first serve park so that wasn't guaranteed. The park we found didn't get very good reviews but what the heck, we won't be there often

Thanks, appreciate the info.
Don't know if we can make it this year, but we did make the Tampa show this past January. That was a great take.

Tampa is a bigger show than Hershey but it is less crowded. We usually go on Wednesdays because we like to talk to the reps and learn the latest info. The weekends can get busy and the reps kick into their sales mode.
Besides, for us it's just an hours drive.

Bucks County....about an hour or so straight east of Hershey. We've been looking to buy or build a MH for about two years now and been going to the Hershey show for the past 4 years.
Not retired....yet. Just can't seem to be able to call it quits. We've been looking at truck conversions as we probably will do some major RV'ing ...north, east, south and west when the time comes. We've looked and driven a Showhauler....looked at Renegade.....looked at some others....know we want a rear garage about 10 ft. or so. I would like to have one built with a pop-up (slide-out which goes up) above the garage but haven't been able to find the right company yet. If that doesn't work then we may stick with a design with a murphy bed as opposed to a bedroom design which isn't utilized for 2/3 of the day.
We've been away from RV'ing for about 15 years as we just got the last of the tribe out of college and flying on their own.
This all started as a dream but is slowly coming to reality for us. Gathering as much knowledge as feasible seems to be the key..........

I have to say, we attended the show on Saturday, and after walking about 4 miles in 7 hours, we managed to see about 75% of the Class As, and spent some time in the vendor area. SO much to see. I would definitely recommend 2 days a good pair of walking shoes.
