The Hershey event is great fun, particularly if you like looking at all the new RVs. We attended last year and had a great time.

I was there last year, it was the first time I went to the Hershey RV Show. If you are in the market for a new RV or just like to see what the new stuff is like then this is the place to go. I do not think anyone could see everything in a single day. I was disapointed by the "indoor" part of the show. The entire indoor part was on the ice rink at the bottom of the arena. The amount of RVs there was impressive! I will probably go again this year if I am off from work that weekend.

We're teaming up with another couple we met camping this year, They're in the market for a new Class A and the deals at the show are some of the best you'll see.

The issue is finding a place to set up camp. The Hershey Resort books up solid 6 months out. I'm looking for two spots right now.

We were there last year and found it to be a great resource and a fun day out looking at motor homes.

This is the second largest show in the east.

The largest show in the country is the Tampa SuperShow in January.

We're going but we gave up trying to find a place to camp, so we're staying at the Marriott in Harrisburg (about 20 minutes away). We're actually just coming back from 2 weeks in Germany right before that, so we're only doing the Saturday. It'll be a long Saturday.

Highmeadow was booked solid by January 1st this year - I tried to get a spot then and I'm on a waiting list. Don't think I'm gonna get in.

The Conewago had two adjoining spots for our friends and us so despite the poor reviews we booked it. We don't plan on being there much and I'm towing a car to get around so all is good.

Our friends are in the market to replace their Damon Avanti so it should be a fun show being able to beat on sales guys

We will be there as well but typically go on Friday and park in the parking lot. It is a nice, fun, long day trip for us.

Have they announced the dates for 2014 yet? I'm wondering if it might be worth it to book Highmeadow NOW for next year.

Generally you can book High meadow during the RV show for the next year.

I do not believe they are out to the public yet. Last year at the show is when we found out this years date.

Did you not see the hundreds of exhibitors around the "ring?" They had everything from camping brochures to folding boats and light up yo-yos.

There are so many nice campgrounds here it's almost impossible to narrow it down. Why not use Google maps? Just center the map on a location and type campground in the search field.

Hope that helps.
