We are heading for Homestead , will be there Thurs a.m. - Wish the Sprint Cup was closer... the Nationwide should be a good show

We will be at the races on Saturday and Sunday. We live in Ft. Lauderdale area - so we drive down.
I'd love to RV at the track but I'd have to have Fri and Mon off and I can never get that off since we camp for 4 days over Thanksgiving every year!

Have fun........we'll be tailgating in the parking lot!

but Sacs will be there AND the DVR in the rig WILL be recording for me!

I'll be there on Sat and Sun. Would love to have the RV there but as I only live 45 miles away, I had two options:

1. Drive each day. Auto parking is free.

2. Park the RV there. Dry camping is $325 - $450 at a dusty gravel lot located next to the track.

I use to stay at that rocky desert next to the track ran out of fuel running the gen 24/7 for four days....now I'm at southern comfort about 3 miles from track...take a cycle to the track park right up front and have full hookups for less money......life is good I'm gone from work at noon Jim K

So...I have been working - but Sacs claims the Truck Race last night was one of the best he has seen...Who was there..and what is your opinion?
...and then what about the Nationwide race today?

I do have to work on Sunday - but I will be holding the remote to keep the Football off the TV!

Chamber of Commerce weather!

I went to both the Nationwide and Sprint races. Both were great right up to the last lap!

Lots of empty seats at both races and heard a lot of people grumbling about the seat prices. NASCAR will have to lower prices or I'm afraid a lot of people won't be coming next year.
