Infield camping NASCAR(Never been)
We want to plan on some infield camping at a nascar race. Never did it so we want this experience to be wicked awesome. We have no idea what to expect.
Preferably near the east coast since we are from NH. Any input will be greatly appreciated. We have been to NH Motor Speedway numerous times but no infield to camp. Time to start shopping for a flag. It might not happen until next year but chance favors the prepared mind.
Thanks,
David

I'd make sure to have a Gen-Turi to vent exhaust gases up and away from between RVs.

I have dry camped at at least 50 Nascar races, only once in the infield (Kentucky). Great experience, you can walk up next to the pit crew etc....during the race.
Enjoy!

First expect to pay a good amount of money. Infield at NASCAR can be pricey, especially the track side sites. Which is fine. But be aware. And book the spot as early as possible. They go fast.
You will be VERY close to your neighbor so the previous mention of the Gen-Turi is imperative. So close that you may not be able to extend your awning fully. And it could be loud as there can and probably will be some contractor type generators there.
Dump tanks and load up on fresh water prior to entering. You can pay to have pump outs and water from the rolling crews that they sometimes have.
Showers could be from a stand alone building to a tractor trailer that they roll in for the event.
My experience is from IMSA, INDY, and vintage racing. Those series tend to not gouge you as much as NASCAR. I have nothing against it and would pay it if I so desired. You should know ahead of time that you will/may have to pay for pit passes, paddock access, grid walk, and access to the other entertainment areas in the infield.
Depending on which state or facility you are going to you might not be able to bring out of state firewood in. Sometimes they limit fires all together. And there is a chance that open burns are not allowed and it will need to be in a raised fire container of some sorts.
And then there are the parties. It can get a little loud and crazy. I have been to Michigan Speedway infield and it was raucous to say the least. It lived up to it's reputation. Food and beer are at premium prices as well, so stock up. But that is ALL part of the fun of the infield !!!
Hope you have a great time!!!

I will get one of my bucket list item checked this year. I wanted to park my motorhome with nothing but track in front of my windshield. I was able to get tickets in the infield next to the track at Pocono. Not my favorite track but I’m really looking forward to this weekend. I will have instant replay on my tv and ac if it’s hot. If you haven’t found anything you may want to try there. It wasn’t that expensive and I didn’t have to buy grandstand tickets.

I would recommend Talladega. Been few times camping the infield. Great atmosphere and an absolute party!

For sure on the Genturi and would add one for the Oasis or Aquahot if you have one and are planning to use it

We as well have never been to a Nascar race let alone camping on the infield.
Thinking of 'Vegas, Phoenix or Riverside
Would I need a 2nd Gen-Turi for the Aquahot?

I’m no help with infield experience. We were going to go to Daytona infield but decided on turn 1 just on the outside of the track. Then got very good seats high on the front stretch across from pit road exit.
I like watching the race so choosing good seats where I could watch the entire race trumped being in the infield and not being able to see a lot of the track. I certainly understand the appeal of the infield experience but, for us, what we did worked perfect.

Every infield i seen, you're parked very close to others, if the Aquahot has an exhaust pipe, I'd think a Gen-Turi would make it safer for you and your neighbors would appreciate it.
