I will be heading to NM around the first week in December. Are there any unique Christmas pagents or events I should take in? How about Juarez, Mexico? I've celebrated Christmas in many countries and parts of the US but never the South West area. I'm looking forward to spending the month in that area then off to California I think.

Tincup, give this gal an e mail, she works for the Las ruces CofC, and is really responsive.. (cvb@lascruces.org)..... also, check out the town of La Messilla, a few miles south of LC, about as authentic Mexican town as you will find north of the border. They frequently have something going on at Christmas, and any time of the year, the Mexican food is terrific. I dont know where you are staying, but check out the website for "Hacienda RV", they also have activities going on. A little pricy, but a very nice place to stay.. Not Christmas(y), but if you are interested in WW2 aircraft, there is a very nice museum about 20 ( + or - )miles South, at Santa Teresa, NM (http://www.war-eagles-air-museum.com/ ).. A large craft fair in LC the first weekend (usually) of Dec. might be of interest too.. Hope you enjoy LC, we often do...rgr..
