Las Vegas and Phoenix NASCAR races

We are hoping to attend the NASCAR races at both Las Vegas and Phoenix this year. However, we've never camped at a race before. Any suggestions on lots, getting to the tracks, or anything else useful? We would not be looking at infield camping. Thanks!

Can't help you on Vegas but PIR won't be a problem getting a camping spot. It probably won't be close to the track but they have a tram running through out the area. We know people who prefer camping at the end of the tram so they can get on easily with no waiting. Bicycles work at any track.
I feel PIR is the best track we have been to.

Thanks for the information. We have been to PIR twice just for the races but sure want to try and stay for a few days and catch all the action.
