Looking for Quartzite group.
My wife and I would like to see what's going on at the Big Tent show at Quartzsite for a few days (18th-20th) before heading further south to Yuma. I'm not part of any group and that bothers me a little. We'd be happy to hang out and help with security.

If you look in the forum of your coach type you may find a group there with a common interest. I don't know if there is an IRV2 group with no affiliation but there are also favorite hobby groups.

We have never been there so we are heading out on Friday morning. Planning on hanging out in the boonies and driving our Jeep in and around for some looking. Not sure what to expect to be honest.

Expect tents tents and tents. Really, there all over. We have gone 4 afternoons and still haven't gotten to them all. Did I say tent's.ya
MH's new ,old , Million dollar ones $5,000 dollar ones. 4 wheelers driving down the roads, (must be legal here). Should I go on. we are loving it, Just wish it was a little warmer.

Mid week will be MUCH easier.. ALL of California drives over on weekends.. The big tent is wall to wall people!!

Probably why I have never been there, not so much our style of getting away from it all but it has been on our list of things to do.

Quartzsite crowds
I have been to Quartzsite many times, but never during the RV show, thinking about heading over Thursday or Friday for 4 or so days. How crowded is it there now?

Visited Quartzsite today. Seems like the population in town is really low. Also a lot of tents closed or being setup. Seems like last year there were more people. Oh well.

We arrived last Friday and left yesterday and over the weekend it was mobbed, RV's and people scattered for miles in all directions.
