Did anyone go this March? We were there......In the mud pit. RV were getting stuck in the mud trying to get in Friday. Truck races were cancelled due to rain, so the public created their own entertainment. College kid’s mud wrestling, flashing, had a black man walking down the road waving a confederate flag on a huge pole. Can’t say I have ever seen that before……Then we had College kids from UNC Chapel hill in a rental RV behind us who were parting so hard it was like a scene out of Animal House. Caught one urinating on our jeep , another vomiting by neighbors RV. They totally trashed the rental RV………

No such thing as sleep.

There has got to be better camping where we do not have to hear the screaming partiers all night….Care to share?

We have given up on Martinsville. Always a mudhole,during the daytime the county sherriffs are patrolling all over the place but at night they vanish.The obnoxious drunks with no respect for anyone but their own good time,that they probably do not remember the next day are not our cup of tea.
We are not opposed to drinking and having fun but some take it way too far.
Tried a spot outside the track which was nice but too far for me to walk.
It is a shame because they put on a good race there and it is cheaper than any other track that we have been to.

We camp behind the Red Barn. It's normally pretty quite out there. We did have one rowdy group last March, but have not seen them since.
