Moonshine Festival

Has anyone attended the Moonshine Festival car show in Dawsonville Ga? Dennis Gage had it on his TV show this past weekend and I was wondering if it was just a lot of hype or a good car show

It is a tribute to moonshiners and the home of NASCAR. Lots of old cars, some beautiful, and some just old. Normally great wx and large crowds, but fun. I live fairly close and have a brother that comes in his RV each fall and loves to go there.

I've been to one and had a great time. We were not RV'ing at the time so stayed in a motel close by. I am a classic/old car/NASCAR nut thus really enjoyed the car shows and the museum. My wife and I both had a great time enjoying the festival, looking at the crafts, and checking out the "moonshine" hauling cars of the era that are parked throughout the festival area. If you're a Bill Elliott fan it's a must see.
