I am definitely going to this event. Likely I will arrive on Friday mid morning. I REALLY need to be able to dry camp in the parking lot fro a couple of days (leaving Sunday)
But I haven't been able to find out ANY additional information.

Do you all believe it will be possible?? Or will I be turned away?

Thanks,

Rick

No, I meant I-88. It's the main road from upstate NY Albany area to Binghamton, ny where you then connect to I-81

My bad. I had I -81 on my mind. I drove it today from just outside of Watertown NY to I -70 in PA. All clear.

I think any closed major roads will be open by the time the show starts but some minor roads may still have bridge damage. Should be pretty easy to get there later this week, just going to be busy at Walmart.

The sites are said to be limited and no reservations....early birds may arrive Wed and Seniors save $$$ on admission Thursday. If it were I, I would NOT depend on but might gamble on your planned arrival having a spot. Just MHO (and having attended many times over the course of 20 or so years. Best of luck to you, and note the surrounding campgrounds also fill quickly.

Looking for something to do AFTER the Hershey Show ????

Come to the iRV2 National Rally in Bethpage!

We should be able to handle a few walk-ins! We have space available.

We were thinking about going to the show prior to attending the iRV2 National Rally in Bethpage but, mainly because of the flooding decided not to go. Needless to say, I am quite disappointed. We were in Harrisburg in April and May and there was flooding from the spring rains. Nothing like last week, but something to think about.

Oh well, we'll be in Florida over the holidays and I guess that I'll just have to go to the Florida RV Supershow and get my looking at new RV's fix!

Bob

We arrived at the on-site overnight parking area this afternoon (Thursday) at about 4:30PM. There still look to be spots available right around us at this hour (10:00PM), so I would say you'll be OK tomorrow morning if you get here early enough.
