Arrived Quartzsite last night. Many vendors are already setting up, but the big tent is closed. I wonder when it opens? Looks like police, fire, and Verizon are all gearing up for next week. Traffic is beginning to get very busy.

The weather is FANTASTIC. About 84 and sunny. No wind.

Lots of dealers and big diesel pushers for sale, as well as RVs of every style and kind. Lots of tents and shops setting up.

We are first-timers, and loving the building excitement. Don't rain on our parade if you're getting tired of it or if it was so much better ten years ago!

Anybody know any "don't miss it" things to see here?

The big tent opens on the 17th and will be packed. There's a radio control airplane airport out by the fire station off I95 north. a 1,000 year old ironwood tree near the library, and of course naked Paul at the Oasis Book Store on Main street. Nice guy if you look past the fact that he's naked. Just a few things that aren't RV related.

Been here since the 4th. Where did you get 84 degrees? Highest temp I got all week on Weather Underground was 75 degrees. Still needed to break out the sun screen.

We don't have our coach yet. Planning on coming to the RV show. Does anyone know if they allow dogs?

Yes they allow dogs, we take ours everywhere in a stroller so he doesn't get stepped on.

I drove through Quartzsite Wednesday heading east and I was stunned at how much Quartzsite had grown since I last passed through there a month earlier. It was at least twice as big. I normally stop for go-juice and make a pit stop at the Loves station but people were lined up there so, since I had plenty of go-juice, I just went on to the next rest stop (Bouse Wash) to make the pit stop.
