Quartzsite in February

It seems like most of the events at Quartzsite are in January. Is it worth going out there in February and March? Are there any shows during those months?

I was in Quartzsite in January for the RV show, I have been to Quartzite many times but this was the first time attending the RV show. I enjoyed the show and gathered some useful information on some products I was interested in. However I enjoy Quartzsite more when less crowded, I tend to boondock while in Quartzsite and enjoy being able to get a somewhat remote location and enjoy the desert and rock hounding and general exploring. There are still vendors in Quartzsite after the shows on a smaller scale. Go and enjoy the desert its beautiful.

We plan to stop in Quartzsite in late February on our way from Tucson to Joshua Tree then on to Death Valley.

Any tips on places to boondock? We'll only be there for a day or two.

At that time of year you will be able to camp almost anywhere. There are places south of the 10 off the 95 and north as well. We camped west of the city a few miles off Dome Rock Road and there were lots of RV's out there for the RV show but I think it is pretty much dead at this time. We may go back just to camp when nobody else is around so we can have the desert to ourselves.

The Desert is starting to come alive again I see some flowers and some greenish looking out over the desert.
We plan on going to Yuma for the month of March.
