While not new to RVing, we've never attended a 'rally.' The April 2006 Rally in Daytona is something we're pondering but have questions and concerns from any 'rally-experienced' folks. We like to travel and do things on our own schedule and usually avoid large crowds. I once went to a NASCAR race and, while it was an exciting experience, I left with the feeling that the better place to see a race was my living room.
My questions:
1. when they say 'electric' hook up included, do they have provisions to get water for your holding tank and do they have a mobile 'honey dipper?' Or, are you expected to use the 'public' facilities to avoid filling your tanks?
2. do they have designated dog walk areas (we have a dog)?
3. are you always parked so your awning is nearly touching the rig parked next to you?
thanks.
