That is on our list of to do's but not this year since we're on the east coast right now. Will you be going in an RV and camping out? What's that like? Is there lots of room for big rigs? Are there organized camping areas or do you just show up and park? I'd love to hear more about it so we'll be prepared when we finally get to go.

We were told that the only RV's that are allowed to park at the Salt Flat are people who are registered to race and there is NO overnight parking.
Having been on the Salt Flats with my Toad in April I would not want to take the RV onto the flats, took us 3 weeks to get all the salt out from under the toad.
There are CG less than 10 miles from the flats with hookups in West Handover, UT.
