It has been a long time since I have been excited or even wanted to talk about RVs. However, our lives have taken a major turn and I am going RV shopping. Dan has retired from the police department and is now in Afganistan working for a contractor doing latent prints. And, best of all, he is HAPPY. We sold our Avion 5th wheel during the summer before we knew our lives were going to change.
Is anyone planning to attend the Tampa RV Show? Will iRV2.com have a booth there this year?
I am so excited to be getting back to RVing. We will keep out home in Alabama for awhile to see how everything is going to work out. We both really loved the 4 years we got to live in our RV. It is the best life.
Oh, forgot to tell you all that we have a new addition to our family. In 2005 we adopted a yellow lab named Lady Kara. She is my constant traveling companion. She is really going to enjoy the RV life.
Bye for now.

Quite a few of us will be there.
iRV2 will not have a booth, but we will have a get together one evening in the Newmar tent which is in the Newmar rally area, next to the MLK Boulevard entrance to the fair grounds.

I would think that there are some wonderful buys out there on slightly used units with the economy as it is.

Diane: G'morning from Tampa. It's fun to hear of your excitement about returning to the RV lifestyle. My wife, Lynette, and I retired in late 05 out of Duluth, MN, sold everything, and have been fulltime on the road since, and it's a HOOT!!! We're currently camped just a few miles East of the Tampa Fairgrounds. We're wintering here but primarily here to visit with our son and his family. He's with the Air Force E.O.D. outfit and just returned from another year in Iraq. BOY, it's nice to have him home in one piece. Bet you're looking forward to having Dan get back too. We are also planning to hit the RV Supershow just to poke around and it's so close to this campground (Tampa East RV Resort..just off Exit 14 on I-4 heading toward Orlando)that we'll probably visit the show a couple times. Anyway, have fun on your search for a new rig. As someone mentioned, you're likely to find a good deal (but maybe not as good at this Supershow as elsewhere) as it's a real "buyer's market" for RV's now. Hope to meet you sometime down the road. Steve & Lynette

Hey Dirk,
What's this about a gathering at the Newmar rally site? I looked around on the forum and did not find any announcements.
What day, what time?
Thanks,
John

There is info on the iRV2 social/get-together HERE in the Newmar thread.
No date or time can be announced yet as we are "borrowing" the tent whenever some time will be available, and we won't know until the Newmar rally starts.
The date and time will be posted on iRV2.

We will be at the Tampa RV Show. You should find some good bargains at the show. Manufacturers and dealers are hungry to make a sale now. We are full time RVers and travel with a black Lab. She loves to travel and I'm sure you Lab will too. They make great companions.
