We have taken 101 from N Ca up to Washington with no problem towing. Lot of places to stop and see if you have the time. If your looking to drive fast head east to 5 via 37 to 80 to 505.

I'm using a combination of a large Good Sam RV atlas, Good Sam Trip Planner, Allstays & RV Parky apps. Anyone using anything else that I should consider?

Thanks!
I would suggest going across the Golden Gate Bridge. Detouring across the Bay Bridge then to the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge ($20 toll) or to HWY 37 across the Carquinez Bridge ($20 toll) will be a very long and unnecessary route.

The GGB is toll free heading north and 19th Ave through Golden Gate Park is not bad, just stay in the middle lanes.

We've driven both North and South numerous times with no problems on HWY 101 in our 32' MY w/ Honda Pilot toad. There are only two places where the road twists through the trees and you need to slow down, other than that it's a great drive! Enjoy!

Thanks for the advice. I've been busy trying to get this route to Oregon done and am probably over thinking it.
