395 Spokane to Reno....???

Anyone done 395 from Spokane to Reno of visa versa? What's the road like? Passes/Grades/Severe Curves? I'll be Towing a 40'FWTH with a Duramax right at GVWR. Thx

Many times both with RVs (F350 35’ 5er, 40’ Dp and toad) and just a 4 wheeler. There are a few good climbs and many curves. Nice views. 395-I84-95-I80 is about the same miles, not as scenic but fewer grades and curves. May also be warmer.

Like rgvtexan said.... You'll be fine on 395 all the way down or the other option he suggested. I've done both routes numerous time on 18 wheels.

It can be "loads of snowy fun" during the winter months. Nothing quite like being the only idiot out there in a night time snow storm, having to stop to figure out where the highway is at...
