Am trying to determine what the best months are
for traveling the 4 Corners (Utah, Co, NM, Az). Any help here would be appreciated in helping me decide on when to go where this year.
Thanks. Keith

We prefer the fall. Cooler days and great color contrast. But...worth seeing any time of the year.

Late Fall to early Spring you will encounter low temps and possibility of white stuff! Four Corners is on what is known as the Colorado Plateau. Altitude and weather are much different from points below I-40.

I would agree that late Spring or early Fall would be ideal.

We were in that general area in mid September 2 yrs ago....can't imagine a better time. Weather was beautiful....blue bird skies, warm days, cool nights.

That's our favorite time to visit for a few weeks. The crowds are gone because schools are in session, even Moab is relatively uncrowded. The only bad thing about the 4 corners area is IT IS HIGHLY ADDITIVE!
