A trip to....
Well, it started real good. Left Moreno Valley California to visit our son in Round Rock Texas. First night stopped at Casino de Sol, had dinner and then won $1750! Next 2 days uneventfull. Stayed at East View RV park for 2 weeks. Very quite. Went to Austin and San Antonio, ate some super BBQ and doughnuts from Round Rock Doughnuts. Had real good time and my son at his new job is doing good. Now, for the ride back home. Drive to Van Horn Texas and stopped for the night. Had dinner and was on the couch watching TV when the coach started to shake. Stopped. And then shook again. Got out to see a Werner Enterprize 53 foot truck/trailer up against my toad, 04 Honda Element. Took out the rear bumper, both top and bottom tailgates, taillite lens, left rear quarter panel and the left rear window. What the driver did was hit the toad, backed up, and hit it again. OK, its an accident. Next day, wind gusts in EL Paso took out the slide topper ( Anthony RV removed the topper, got on it right away, was gone in 30 minutes, and only charged $47.50 ) And on the 3rd day home, the house water pump died. We are back home now, and on a positve note, no blood loss.
