Alabama Hwy 82

I am looking for an alternative route from Hwy 331 south of Montgomery Al. to I-22 to Tupelo MS. I want to bypass Birmingham.

I suppose you could take 82 into ms and then up alt 49 north.

I might be late to this question since post was 9/21 but can't respond to 82 in Alabama but picked it up in Texarkana when going west all the way to Amirillo, I was ok with it like most roads in us good sections bad sections.

I see your base is Olustee we are staying in your ocean pond campground, love it.
We live 90 miles south so will visit often.

glad you like it. I live on the southwest shore. Let me know when you are there and I will try to drop by. My next few weeks are going to be very hectic (like the last 3 months) but I would like to take you and your wife around the lake if you don't have a boat.
