We are planning on spending the summer of 2011 traveling Alaska. Leaving from AZ late May and working our way to Canada and possibly arriving in Dawson Creek around the first of July. Wondering if anyone out there has similiar plans and would possibly want to caravan or venture with a fellow RV'r. We have a 28ft Rexhall Aerbus with a Saturn Vue Toad. This is our first adventure after retiring and can't wait to travel without time constraints. Just opening this for discussion to see if anyone has similiar plans.

only suggestion I have is you should be hitting Alaska in late may early June so you have plenty of time...you will find roads are good but distances are long and a hiking day in the rain stinks so plan some down time do to weather

Howdy!
I agree with the above. July is late Make the most of you time and the weather. We stayed in Denali for over two weeks and never got to see the entire mountain but enjoyed every day of it.

We left AZ May 17th as planned. Are currently in West Yellowstone and will be heading north aiming to cross the border around the 31st of May to head to Banff. No real time table as it depends on what's between here and there. Planning to cross north of Kalispell - Eureka.
