Alaska travel in rental motorhome

When we were on our Alaska trip this year, we frequently were camped with a group of 15-20 couples from Australia in rental motorhomes. Talked with them a bit. The had picked the motorhomes up in Seattle and had three weeks to deliver them to Anchorage. I know nothing other than that. It seems to me that this might be an option for some to drive up and then take a boat back or fly home. I did not ask what they were paying in rental. I would assume they got a discount rate for the delivery. If anyone were interested, I assume an internet search and some phone calls might prove interesting. I would assume you would start some time in May. I would guess that someone here has also done this.

2001 34' Alpine Coach
2008 Jeep Rubicon or 2012 Ford F150 4x4 Lariat towds
or a couple of different trailers
Retired in Apple Valley, California

We did it in 2003 with Alaska Highway Cruise, We picked up the RV in Seattle and 27 days later delivered the RV to Anchorage and took a cruise back to Vancouver. We loved it so much we bought our own RV and have been back in it and and hopefully again next year.
