We are beginning to plan for a trip to Alaska via the Ferry system. Would greatly appreciate advice from others who have used this travel method. We plan to depart from Bellingham and are not sure which ports to stop in. We have previously gone on a Cruise ship so we've seen some spots. Have never been to Fairbanks or the many parks in Alaska. Which should we definitely plan to see? What tour boats/locations would you recommend? We expect to be in 36-45' RV's in our group.

G'morning from Sedona, AZ. WOW!! That's going to be some trip!! How many rigs will be in your "group?"

We've visited Alaska with our 40' MH towing a car in 07 (drove up and back using Ferry system briefly between Haines and Skagway only), and I was stationed in Ketchikan years ago with the Coast Guard so I'm a little familiar with the Inside Passage and the Alaska Ferry system. Is your group planning to use the Ferry system BOTH on the way to and from your Alaska visit?? Also, how much time does your group plan to spend on this trip?? Not prying, simply trying to make compatible suggestions.
