Well, I live 40 miles East of Albany and I've spent the Christmas holidays in tee shirts and shorts...but I've also spent them in the truck plowing 24" of snow...lol. Seriously, the area is subject to Lake effect snow and the roads are pretty well taken care of. Especially the Interstates. Side roads can be dicey during and after heavy snow falls and the Catskills will on average get more snow than Albany. Temps will average 30's/40's during the day and teens or lower at night. Google search Albany tv stations for weather and AccuWeather.com gives a 15 day forecast. Hope that gives you a starting point.
