Albuquerque Ballon Festival HEADS UP!!

If you're attending the Albuquerque Balloon Festival and plan to visit Old Town, HEADS UP!! Central Ave. SW, one of the main arteries into Old Town, (especially if you're staying at American RV Resort) is COMPLETELY torn up from Coors Blvd past Old Town... It's one lane in both directions weaving through construction!! If you plan on visiting Old Town would highly recommend I-40 to Rio Grande Blvd south. You can use Google maps to pick your route. We used Rio Grande to Mountain Rd to 19th St. What ever you do, avoid Central Ave like the plague!
