Anyone else headed to Daytona?

DW and I are heading out out NH on Sat. Morning heading for Daytona and the 500. We do this every year and it is always an adventure weather wise. Anyone else headed down from the northeast? Would love to compare notes. One way or the other, come Sat. at 6AM

How hard is it to get an infield pass with a motorhome for camping? We plan to do this next year or for the July race. Is it a bad idea to bring the kiddos along?

All infield camping spots are reserved. The sooner you contact the ticket office the better your spot will be. Our choice is to camp outside the track and then buy tickets to the grandstand. It really depends on what kind of an experience you are looking for. Infield is more for a party and grandstands are more for race fans. Just depends on witch you prefer. Might be better for the kids outside the track. There is a large camping area just outside of turn one. Makes for an easy walk to your seats and a very reasonable atmosphere.
