Avery island visit

Do they have parking for a 38 ft motor home towing a car at Avery island while visiting the Tabasco facility. We hope to go there tomorrow if we can take the mh

You should call them and ask. I'm guessing yes. We were there in Feb and camped at the Casino about 20 miles east. Buses pull into the lot in front of the main building.

Google earth show 2 school buses parked in the parking area, and if I remember from last fall there were tour buses parked there also.

And after Avery Island and the fun Tabasco gift store, head over to Jefferson Island for a classy but not too expensive lunch. Many locals go there regularly.

We stopped in breaux bridge at the visitor center and the nice lady there routed us down the shorter way since we were westbound. It was a teeth jaring ride with multiple turns. I'm not sure it would not be faster by driving on to Lafayette and catch 90 down. There is a large unmarked lot in which to park but not ideal for those with a large motor home with tow. When we arrived there was a tractor trailer parked and driver probably sleeping

Nice interesting tour and even sampled two types of ice cream flavored with Tabasco. Not bad
