Just one caution...sounds like you're using I 40...still getting snow in NM that makes travel on I 25 and I 40 treacherous...and sometimes closed, particularly in W TX and NM. As I sit here this AM in Santa Fe it is snowing throughout Eastern NM and advisories out for passes, Gallup, ect.

Use weather.com and track weather advisories enroute (that's the little red number at the top of each city in the upper right corner).

I am in Canyon Vistas RV Resort in Gold Canyon until May 1st. Most people stay south this time of year depending on the road reports. You can come in on Hwy 60 but it has had snow on it recently. Otherwise go to Tucson and come north from there through Casa Grande and Florence.

Az trip

Thanks for the info. Were thinking of staying at the Roberts Resort in Gold Canyon. Have you ever stayed there?

We haven't stayed there because it is a golf resort and we don't golf. It is pretty much next door to our park and I have heard good things about it. I'm sure you will be happy with your choice. Have a great time. We have had a colder and damper winter this year but temperatures are predicted to push 90 this week so it will probably be warm to hot when you are here.
