Bar Harbor, ME to Burlington, Vermont

I am looking at driving from Bar Harbor to Burlington and the route would be
US-2. MapQuest shows this as a very curvy road. I will be towing a 30ft 5th wheel with a diesel truck. Have you driven this before and is it a road to stay off of?

Thanks, Tom

I have driven this road twice ... once in a 35 ft motorhome and once in a 39 foot motorhome ... I was towing both times.

It is a beautiful drive ... there are some scenic drives nearby ... one is the Kangamangus (sp) highway

No problem ... enjoy it

I travel that road often. Longest rig is our 30' 5th wheel. Very good road, good scenery.
A little bumpy between Danville and Montpelier in VT but not too bad.

Enjoy the trip. If you are looking to stay over on the way Sugar Ridge in Danville is wonderful.

Mark and Cecelia still doing that "W" thing
