Best route

has anyone gone through Whitehall going north from Dillon Mt to Boulder Mt rather than taking I-15 through Butte. I have heard it eliminates some long hard pulls. thanks

I've never driven that route, but it is marked as safe for semi travel. The Truckers Road atlas shows it does miss the mountain ranges.

If you mean Hwy 41/69, it's a good nice road. We've done it.
