Best route from Delaware to South Florida?

We are picking up our new 32 ft Freelander in Delaware and will drive to Ft Lauderdale Florida. Any suggestions on where to stop close to I 95 for a few hour nap about halfway into the trip?

Walterboro, SC Walmart and Murphy fuel stop is a bit more than half way, but we stop there all the time. Rest areas seem to be quite busy and the Wally World is easy in/out with no hassle. We always ask but I'm sure many don't.

There is also a Walmart and 2 easy access campgrounds in Florence SC. Florence is just south of the NC border. I have never stayed at any of them but I am planning on using the Walmart on New Years on our way to FL. I have called the Walmart and they do allow overnight parking.

we use this allstays website for walmart and other camping info. this site is kept updated by users of the site. even when the the store is listed, i always ask management or security for permission and where to park.
