Best route from St. Joseph Mo. to Osage Beach Mo.

What's the best route from St. Joseph to Osage Beach MO. that has enough clearance for a 13'6"fifth wheel? Thanks

Do you have a start address and a finish address?

General directions are
I-29 out of St. Joseph to KC
East on I-70 to US 65
South on US 65 to US 50
East US 50 to Tipton
South on MO 5 to US 54
US 54 for 15.7 miles....

Don't go route 7 between Warsaw and Camdenton. That is a roller coaster ride.

I would go this way.

We were told there is a low bridge a mile or two east of highway 65 and 50 intersection. The clearance of the bridge was supposed to be 13'9". Our camper is 13'6" so we were afraid to take that route. Does anyone know of that bridge and if it is indeed that low?

While I have no personal experience with that route, I set my routing software for 13' and it did not provide any warnings. Good luck on your route!

Routing software

"Routing Software" sounds very interesting . Where would I find that software? It would be helpful to know the best or safest routes. Thanks
