Best Route in North Maine to Eastport

Hi I am traveling from Bar Harbor to Atlantic Canadian Providences; New Brunswick, PEI, Nova Scotia. We have 44' motorhome with a towed. We would like to go to Eastport Maine on the way too. Does anyone have advice about the routes or parks to stay in? Thanks.

We were up there last summer, but were coachless(stayed at In on the Wharf in Lubec). All routes are about the same - nothing is direct. All two lane asphalt. I heartily recommend you stop in Lubec and Campobello Island since you've come that far. Eastport is a bit more touristy, but we liked the laid back feel of Lubec.
