Best route - Oregon cascades

I'm traveling from Salem,OR to Sisters, OR and wondering which is the better route, driving wise, for our rig, US-20 or OR-22. Thanks for your help.

Definitely 22 from Salem. 20 is not good , plus quite a bit longer if you come down from Salem.

We go from Newport to Sisters/Redmond twice a year and always do 22 since the first time we took 20 (big mistake in a large RV)...a little longer for us. This year, we came back from Redmond via 126 through Eugene. Longer, but much better than even 22.

Take 22.

I would take 126 thru Eugene...a little longer/further BUT much easier on M/H and Driver.

We have only been around there one time....but there seemed to be a dearth of gas stations. Better check in advance.

The OP has a DP...no need for a gas station.
