Best route Portland, OR to Beverly Beach SP

Have reservations at Beverly Beach State Park outside of Newport, OR.

Traveling on a Sunday from Spokane with a 30' Class A and possibly towing our CRV. We'll be coming into Portland on I84.

I'm getting different route suggestions from different apps.
1 app suggested taking 99W from Tigard connecting with hwy 18/22 to hwy 101 south to Beverly Beach.

Another app routed us down I5 to hwy 22 out of Salem to hwy 101 south to Beverly Beach.

Yet another suggested I5 to hwy 34 into Corvallis and then hwy 20 into Newport.

I'm leaning towards I5 to hwy 22 out of Salem.

What would your recommendation be?

Thanks,
Al

I also think this is the easiest route. 99w will take you through the Portland suburbs with plenty of lights. 34 is ok but 22/18 is my preferred route having spent several years in Salem.

BUT, take I-205 to I-5 and avoid the downtown Portland mess. As you approach I-205, watch your lanes. They can be confusing.
