Hi Lucys Dad,
I 70 is my choice. How you get there from Newburgh, there are several choices. My choice is:
1. I 84 West to Scranton
2. I 81 South to I 80 West
3. I 80 West to I 71 South (in Western PA)
4. I 71 South To I 70 West

The bad part of I 80 (traffic and tolls) doesn't start until after you leave it.

Hi TsuSM70,
Yep, you are correct. thanks for posting. I had to get my magnifying glass and glasses to see the correct route number.

The OP could continue through to Youngstown and pick up I 76 to I 71 southwest of Akron to I 70. However, this is a bit more congested route. Still no tolls.
