Best to take Florida Turnpike to I-4, or get off at 27 and go down to 192?

Hi Pick: I cannot say it is the best way to go but I have taken it many times and it works well for me. We get off I-75 at the Wildwood exit, and take the Florida turn pike over to hwy 27 and go south to 192 then go east to the Disney area. It avoids the traffic and congestion of Orlando area.

I agree with "Novi"
we tried several others and 27 to 192 works best.

Is there any preference in getting onto US 27 at Exit 288 or 285? What kind of road is 27 in that area? Is it pretty much limited access, or a lot of urban driving to 192? Any reasonable gas stations that way, with good access for large RV's. Thanks,

I 75 to Wildwood Tuirnpike to US 27 S to 192 then E to Disney exit. Four lane divided highways wit one town Cleremont (has the Citrus Tower) and two or three traffic signals.

When you turn off 192 onto Disney stay in the 2nd lane from the right as the right lane becomes an exit only. When you get to the parking toll booths go throung the second from the E (right side) as you will be making an immediate right turn after going throungh and you will not be charged a parking fee with your reseversation. The first lane is Disney vehicles only. The first entrance (left) is the check-in entrance to the campground.

If you are running the generator and the exhaust is in front of the coach like a lot of DP's you will need to turn it off before you get to the check in booth or the Disney representative will get a lot of exhaust in the booth and not give you the best site available.
