Best Route To Foxwood Casino

Hey All,

I am taking hubby to the casino for an outing, He needs to get out and about... I am coming from the NH border and would like any and all tips to get into Ledyard easily. I hate driving the 40 foot monster without knowing where I am going.... Can you help me????

Also...the casino told me that they can accomodate his electric scooter on the shuttles. Any ideas on this???

Thanks y'all....

Faith, Bob and the two pups.....

our daughter works there! 395 get off exit 79a follow 2a to the end turn left then your first right follow to stop light there will be a fire house on your right take a left follow it to the end and take a right the second exit should be the enter for over size rigs.

and yes they can they have lift ramps on the buses. if one comes by thet don't have a lift ramp they will call someone over to you and they will be there in 5 min. or less.

you also have mohegan sun casino that is beautiful. and a must see it is on your way to foxwoods.
Hope this helps.

Depending on where you are in NH will determine how you find 395. For example, if coming from mid-state you probably will come to 190, which becomes 290 which turns into 395 in Auburn. If you are coming 95, 495, you can pick up 290 or go to the Mass Pike and take it west to exit 10 and get 395 right off the exit in Auburn.
Sounds confusing, but it is not. Depending on the day, traffic at any interchange can be a hassle. Weekdays are the best.

Thanks to y'all,

Hubby and I went to Foxwood last weekend and actually went the long way...Route 95 from New Hampshire all the way down...worst way possible!!!! (Did not get your tips before we left...) But this weekend we decided to try it again and we went to Mohegan Sun. We went by your directions and it was a breeze....all except Route 290 through Worcester...I hate that road!!!! But all in all it was a great weekend and the parking lot for RV's is vastly larger at Mohegan. It was a little sloped but the view over the river was lovely. And that is what we have levelers for...LOL!!!

I guess that this is a great bargain. Free dry-camping, free shuttles, and somewhat cheap eats. Life is grand!!! We managed to break even...(but we only spent $40.00 on the slots.) We like people watching more than gambling...

Best to you all...

Faith, Bob and the Pups...
