Thank you ZNT1186 and Sweetbriar for the really knowledgable and helpful advice. We are looking forward to this adventure. Tom Sawyer's is the park where we will stay while we visit with my son who lives in West Memphis and instructs at T1G in Crawfordsville, Ar, We looked at the KOA, but it got many bad reviews. And, besides, I want to fish the Mississippi like Huck Finn.

go I-40 and you are in for a BEAUTIFUL drive, in fact, when we were in Asheville we took a ride up I-40 to go 4 wheeling and had a ball !!!
