Best routes from Rt 84 in New York State to York Pennsylvania

I hope that this is the correct forum for this question. I am looking to find good roads from Rt 84 in NY to York PA, that are easy to drive while pulling a 13 thousand pound 5th wheel. Thank you for any help that you can provide.

If you mean I-84 Take i9t west to Scanton, PA and pick up I-81 South towards Harrisburg, PA

Not prying as to your travel intentions in York. However, if you have any Welsh blood you might want to check out 2 sister towns of Delta, PA and Cardiff, MD which are only a stones throw from York. Today, both towns are bedroom communities to Baltimore; however, when originally settled in the 19th century slate and green marble mining were the primary industries. Have you ever seen a slate roof? Or a slate sidewalk? Or a slate washtub? They all can be seen in Delta. My dad was born and raised there and the rich history is pretty neat. Whatever you do take time to have fun, Ken Roberts....

I don't know where you are starting from on I-84, but consider:

US-209S (Deleware Water Gap) to
PA-33S to
US-22W to
I-78W to
PA-100S to
US-222W to
US-30W into the York area.

We have taken the route before towing a Montana 3400 RL with an F350 King Ranch. One short detour on the Delaware Water Gap is a narrow part, but was doable. We have also taken those US highways and the DWG in the 40 foot DP w/TOAD.

p.s., if you Google map search and put in directions from Milford, PA to York, it actually gives the route I suggested.

PS... As this is a trip that will be more business than leisure (we are dropping our daughter off at college), I plan to find some play time on subsequent trips to the York area.
