Boise Idaho to Missoula Montana

Best route in a 33' Coach, starting in Boise and continuing to Missoula?
Thanks advance!

No comment on route - but in Missoula - Smoke Jumpers museum and a tour of actual facilities is a must see.

Avoid 93 through Salmon unless you REALY enjoy mountain road driving.
Scenic route north on 95 to the freeway then east, quick route, also the longest , freeway to Pocatello then freeway north to Missoula.

55 though McCall , haven't been through with an RV , but remember it as a pleasant drive. Been a number of years.
I haven't driven 12, but as a secondary highway through the National Forest and over the mountains, don't think it would be much different than 93. A friend who lives in Frenchtown MT. ( tows a 30' 5er.) Will drive 93 in his car , but won't tow over it.

We've done this route and many RVers do. In Lewiston you'll have one big climb. On Hwy 12 it follows the river so it's scenic, flat but curvy. You just don't drive fast.

We've also driven 93 through Salmon and don't recall any issues. However, we love those kinds of drives!

Get on Google Map and you can look at the routes firsthand.
