Bosie ID to Glenwood Springs CO

We are planning to travel from Boise to Glenwood Springs in our 40' DP towing a Honda CRV in early September. We would prefer to take scenic routes were possible. We are looking at using US 40 from it's junction with I-80 through Heber City and on to Dinosaur National Monument. From there we are looking at CO 64 and 13 to get us to I-70 then east to Glenwood Springs.

Any thoughts on the route we don't mind two lane roads or driving on mountain roads but like to avoid things with grades greater than 8%.
Also if we take this route any suggestion on things to see and places to stay?

Thanks in Advance

Mountain West Directory

The Mountain West Directory shows two grades in the 6 to 7 % range on your route.

Uphill on I-80 between SLC and Park City and downhill between Park City and Heber City.

I think you can avoid these grades by going on to Provo and then up Provo Canyon to Heber City ... that is a scenic drive
