Branson Mo. to Memphis

I'm thinking to go 65 south to Harrison, then 62 east to Jonesboro, then 63 south/east to IH 55. Good or bad choice?

Another option is 65 south to Conway, then IH 40 to Memphis.

Please let me know if you've driven either or both routes and what may be best. Or is there a better route I'm not seeing?

I suggest going US160 to US63 to I-55 into Memphis

Bones, thanks for the info. I had discounted US 160 because on my map it had a lot of wiggley road. Concerned me that it may have a lot of curves. Will give it another hard look.

We recently traveled from Branson down 65 to Conway to connect up with I40. It was a pretty easy drive in our 42' coach with toad. It is certainly the more direct route.

Thanks for the route suggestion. I did the 62 out of Harrison and then 63 to I55. Must say it was a pleasant drive with good roads. Trip from Branson was 5 hrs.
